Channing Tatum's set for solo spin-off 'Gambit' movie, and now they've got a writer

One of the fan favorite characters from the X-Men universe is 'Gambit,' and now it's official: Channing Tatum will star as the mutant in a stand-alone film, which just hired the writer of the 'Robocop' remake.
